Through this blog, in upcoming posts I hope to answer any questions you may have and share personal achievements, as well as discuss the difficulties I face and what keeps me motivated. My Journey - The Birth Of Stretch And Flex
My journey towards the creation of Stretch and Flex started with a passion for gymnastics. I will speak more on this during my interview that will be available on my YouTube channel next month. I just knew that's exactly where I was meant to be, a love at first site thing. The movements, focus, determination and of course the leotards! As an athlete, I always pushed my body to its limit, after I stopped competing I realised over time, I started experiencing recurring injuries and some sort of stiffness. It was frustrating and disheartening, but it also sparked my curiosity about the importance of mobility and flexibility training.
I delved into research and explored various techniques and practices, from yoga to calisthenics and even ballet, in an effort to find solutions for myself. Through this process, I not only discovered effective ways to improve mobility and flexibility, but I also gained a deep understanding of the benefits they bring, such as alleviating back pain and sciatica, relieving arthritis symptoms, and improving overall athletic performance. After many asked if I could teach them how to do the splits, eager to share my newfound knowledge, I decided to start my own business, Stretch and Flex. Based in the heart of London, I offer stretch classes and strength training sessions, providing individuals with the tools they need to unlock their full physical potential. I believe that everyone can benefit from incorporating these practices into their lives, regardless of age or fitness level.
